Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) is coming – next month or so. Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, announced this at a recent developers day at Microsoft Switzerland.
He also talked about the Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Phone 7 that is supposed to release with a WP7 update codenamed “Mango’, and will be available later this year.
At the Dell evening in Singapore, Dell laptops and Streak were not the only thing under the spotlight. There was something else also that caught every blogger’s attention on that evening – the Dell Venue Pro.
Dell Venue Pro is powered by the upcoming Windows Phone 7 which was announced a few days back.
Microsoft launched its most important product of the year, Windows Phone 7 OS for mobile devices, in a dual launch event in both London and New York.
Steve Ballmer, Microsoft CEO, took the stage and explained how Windows Phone 7 will be bringing a change in the mobile industry and some features of the OS. According to him, the OS will be focusing on two points: wonderfully delightful, and wonderfully mine.
There is a big surprise for all the Windows Phone 7 Series users. Some developer named tom_codon along with some Russian guys successfully managed to port Windows Phone 7 Series to HTC HD2.
He has posted some screenshots of HTC HD2 running Windows Phone 7 series. He mentioned that all the features like WiFi, Bluetooth etc are working absolutely fine. The only problem is with the graphics driver, which is not working properly and causes the device to lag.
