WordPress is working hard to reach out all those bloggers who are on the move and like to blog from their cell phones. First, they came out with a WordPress app for iPhone and now they have inched towards BlackBerry users.
Personally, I think they should have come with an Android or Symbian version first. Symbian already has a third-party blogging app for WordPress which is being used by many.

WordPress 2.7 has already passed out the official release date and still lurking into the beta versions, but optimistically its for our good. Beta 3 is itself remarkable as it has been revamped with many new features plus numerous style improvements and refinements, if counted 160 changes altogether.
Many of you have already installed WordPress 2.7 Beta 2 for your blogs to enjoy better features but now it’s time to upgrade Beta 2 to the latest Beta 3. To do so simply open Tools and go to Update menu.

It was recently announced of the availability of WordPress 2.7 Beta 2. A large number of bugs have been fixed along with some new features.
Since the release of the WordPress 2.7 Beta 1, bugs were continuously reported, and the WordPress team worked hard to get them right and release the second beta on time. You can download this from the link in the end.
WordPress 2.7 Beta 1 Released
We have already been teased enough by the screenshots and features of the upcoming WordPress 2.7. And again a lot of buzz has been created before the actual release of WP 2.7.
Finally the first beta of WordPress 2.7 is now available for download. The WP Team has been working hard on the pretty visuals you will see. At the moment, there are many glitches in WP 2.7 for IE and Opera, but it works fine in Firefox and Safari.
Moderate WordPress Comments from Desktop
It’s been a while since I last shared an Adobe AIR tool. The last one I posted about was about GMDesk which lets you run Google services from your desktop.
Many blogs have comment moderation enabled to prevent from spam. Even this blog uses comment moderation, and I daily have to moderate a big pile of comments. This has just been made easy, thanks to Daniel.

WordPress 2.6.3, which was released yesterday, is a patch release that fixes two security vulnerabilities involving Snoopy, a library that WordPress uses internally.

WordPress is again creating lots of buzz and excitement among bloggers using WordPress as their blogging platform. WordPress 2.7 is all set to release on November 10th, 2008 which will bring some hot new features as I wrote earlier.
Matt Mullenweg has put online a demo version of WordPress 2.7 for everyone to try out and see what the future WordPress version holds. I also took a look at the demo, and took a few screenshots of various pages I went through.
