When you download Windows 8, Microsoft is also giving out Windows 8 product/activation keys that you can use with the Consumer Preview release.

How to Change User Account Picture Tile in Windows 8

Windows 8 is going to feature Metro UI throughout the operating system. The first leaked Windows 8 (build 7850) doesn’t reveal much about that, but there are definitely some signs of the Metro UI showing up in future builds.

One such ‘sign’ can be found when changing your Windows 8 user account picture tile from under ‘My Look” settings. The description on that window says – “Choose from available tiles: The picture you choose will appear on your taskbar and represent you throughout Windows.” See the word, ’tiles’ there!

Windows 8 Video Demo of User Logon

Windows 8 is rumoured to have the new Metro interface, but it wasn’t confirmed until now when we actually have a video surfacing on the web of Windows 8 user logon screen that features the new Metro UI.

Windows 8 Build 7955 features the first Metro UI elements in the user logon screen of Windows 8. Microsoft did their best to keep the Windows 8 development tight, but oh well, it is still out on the web and Windows 8 Build 7850 is also available for download now.
