How To Auto Save in Windows Live Writer

I’m sure none of you like to lose all your post that just wrote because of a power failure or computer crash.
Previously, Windows Live Writer had this auto-save feature enabled by default which would automatically save changes made to our articles after every 3 minutes. But they have left this option unchecked (disabled) in the latest Live Writer release.
Windows Live Mobile Services and Links
Windows Live is almost ready to unleash Windows Live wave 3, and no, this won’t have BETA versions. It will have full and final versions of all Windows Live applications. And today I was surprised to see the new Windows Live homepage which is now turning into a social network.
With this, they have also updated their Windows Live services for mobile users. Windows Live Mobile brings all your favourite Windows Live services in your reach and you can access them from any phone. Just make sure your phone has an internet browser. ;)
Windows Live Wave 3 Officially Released
The much awaited Windows Live Wave 3 has been officially released and the installer is now available for download from Live website or use the direct links given in the end.
Windows Live Wave 3 suite include updates for Mail, Writer, Photo Gallery, Toolbar, Movie Maker and Family. It also includes the latest version of Windows Live Messenger 9. All these updates are still in Beta and contain many new features.
Windows Live Theme for XP and Vista

Here’s something I have that all Windows Live fans are going to love. I was in search of a theme that looked exactly like Windows Live website.
BlogsDNA did some Googling and found a theme that can be used on Windows Vista as well as XP. It is very attractive and comes with 4 cool wallpapers. This theme pack also contains a separate skin for Windows Sidebar.
Windows Live Hotmail Wave 3 Features
Soon Microsoft is going to release new features for its services in the third wave of Windows Live updates. A couple of days ago I wrote about the leaked upcoming version of Windows Live Messenger 9.
Today I came across the Windows Live Hotmail promotion site which tells about all the new goodies that we’ll see in the next wave of Windows Live updates.
Windows Live Messenger 9 Leaked Again

There has been another leakage from the Windows Live Messenger team. Previously, an initial alpha release was leaked which introduced some interesting new features.
And once again, another build was leaked on torrents and underground forums spreading it like wild fire. The latest build of Windows Live Messenger 9 is 14.0.3921.717. The latest build features a much more clear, colourful and stylish interface.
Live Search Webmaster Tools Out of Beta
The Live Search Webmaster Tools was launched last year in beta which is similar to Google Webmaster Tools and provides some statistics about how Live Search crawls and index your site.
Live Search Webmaster Tools recently got a major update and has finally moved out of Beta. They have also introduced some new features that can help webmasters gather some statistics about how their websites are being crawled by Live Search bots and help them improve their ranking.
Windows Live Writer Gets New Features
Windows Live Writer (WLW) is one of the most widely used blog editor, and is my favourite too. In fact, this post is also being written on WLW. Yesterday, Writer Zone announced a new Technical update to Windows Live Writer which includes a number of improvements and new features. A brief listing of the features have been given below.

One of the most notable feature is the crop and screenshot feature which can now be down right from Windows Live Writer without the use of Paint or Photoshop. Another interesting feature is of visual effects i.e reflection, rounded corners etc. that can be added to our images. We can also rotate images by a custom angle in WLW now. You can use your any email address by any email provider on MSN Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, or anywhere it asks you to use your .NET Passport.
