Windows 7 Coming in 2009

It seems like Microsoft is buffing up its latest and shiniest software piece, Windows 7, for a release earlier than people expected. Originally in 2007, after Windows Vista released, Microsoft said that another version of Windows should be expected after 3 years somewhere in 2010.

But a recent news was brought into the spotlight by CNET, in a Windows Vista Velocity program presentation, that it was confirmed by Doug Howe, Microsoft’s Director, that Microsoft is pressing for Windows 7 release in holiday season of 2009.

Windows 7 Tranformation Pack 2009

Last week at PDC, Windows 7 was revealed to the tech world by Microsoft. I was eager to know more and more about the new features and its awesome looks.

At that moment it clicked in my mind to test the geeks that whether they succeeded in making a transformation pack for Windows 7 or not. I was amazed to know that it already exists with the latest Windows 7 theme, start menu, wallpapers etc.

Extend Windows 7 Trial to 90 Days

Unfortunately, the new Windows 7 Pre-Beta demo build is only good for 30 days and will expire after that.  Now if you’re daring enough to use it, 30 days is not ample time to get acquainted to such a program, nor will you be able to learn all that you’d like to.

There is no method to activate Windows 7 permanently yet, but for now we can lengthen the trial from 30, to 90 days with a short trick, which should be more than as it is expected that Windows 7 Beta 1 will be coming out December end, or early January.

Windows 7 Theme for Vista

Windows 7 which was shown and demoed at PDC 2008 last week, unveiled some interesting new visual changes to its user interface like minor changes in the start menu, and the revamped taskbar.

If you liked the theme from Windows 7, here’s your chance to grab it for Windows Vista too. DJ Gx from DeviantArt has made a theme for Windows Vista, that looks almost like the Windows 7 theme shown at PDC 2008.

We already have Windows 7 features, screenshots and wallapapers. It’s just everywhere and each news of Microsoft’s upcoming OS spreads like wild fire all over he Internet.

As you know, Windows 7 Pre-Beta M3 Build 6801 was leaked earlier on torrents and can be downloaded. But unfortunately, the build that was distributed among the PDC attendees, did not had the new taskbar and its features.

Microsoft introduced Windows 7 to the public at Professional Developers Conference 2008, and since I have seen the first screenshots, I can hardly wait to get my hands on it. I’m now desperately waiting for the first public beta from Microsoft.

Download Windows 7 Pre-Beta M3 Build 6801

Okay folks, it’s finally out – leaked actually! All the PDC 2008 attendees were distributed a free copy of Windows 7 Pre-Beta by Microsoft.

This alpha version is distributed in a free 160GB external hard disk which includes Windows 7 and all the PDC videos. Build 6801 has been leaked on torrent, which is a build older than what was shown at PDC.
