Along with the three Windows 7 versions I told about along with the announced OS pricing, there will be two different versions for the UK consumers, Windows 7 E and Windows 7 N.
The OS with an “E” won’t have a browser installed by default i. e Internet Explorer 8. And Windows 7 N will don’t come with a media player installed i.e Windows Media Player 12.

On several occasions, you might come across situations where you don’t have access to a CD-ROM or for some other reason you couldn’t install Windows OS on your PC, notebook or netbook.
Recently, while playing with my Acer Aspire One A110 netbook, I tried installing Windows 7 on it. Since it doesn’t have any CD drive, I had to create a bootable windows 7 USB stick in order to install it on my netbook.

For a long time Windows users have been using third-party tools and hacks to customize the Windows Logon UI, but Microsoft has finally realized that and have made this option available on Windows 7.
In the latest build 7057 of Windows 7, Rafael Rivera found out that now you can customize the logon UI without any hacks or patches. You will still have to do it manually, but it will be safe as no patching of system files will be involved.

Windows 7 is still in its beta phase, and an RC release is just round the corner, but the earlier milestones versions already proved how faster Windows 7 really is than Vista and XP.
Last week, when Wndows 7 build 7048 got leaked, testers found out that they can disable Internet Explorer 8 in Windows. Similarly, you can disable more applications now.

Just when the time is running out and the limited Windows 7 Beta download period from Microsoft is coming to an end, we just got another leak and this time it’s Windows 7 (build 7022).
It has been reported that some ‘friendly’ individuals from Microsoft Ukraine have leaked the new build, called Build 7022.winmain.090115-1850, over the Internet. This build was compiled almost a month ago, on January 15, 2009.

We all know that the next version of Windows Media Player, which is WMP12, comes with the upcoming OS from Microsoft, Windows 7. I happened to install the first beta, and when I tried to set the equalizer in WMP12, I couldn’t find it anywhere.
I searched every menu and preferences, but it wasn’t there in any of them. Just when I thought its not there in the beta version, I finally saw the Graphic Equalizer button, in a tricky way!
