Increase Volume in Windows 7

This was a problem with Windows Vista, and it’s still there in the next version of Windows OS releasing in less than a week, Windows 7! Yes, I’m talking about the low volume problem in Windows.
The problem is, that even though my both, the volume mixer and my application’s volume is set to maximum levels, it is still not loud enough as it was in Windows XP.

August 20, Last Day to get Windows 7 RC
A quick reminder for everyone who is still thinking whether to try the upcoming Microsoft OS, Windows 7, or not that today is the last day to grab a copy of the Release Candidate version of Windows 7.
The official test release, Windows 7 RC, from Microsoft is currently available for download. But today, on August 20, the download page will be taken off and then you will have to wait till the final release.
