twitter-logoTwitter for Android official app has just been released for public in the Android Market! Twitter promised an official Twitter client for Android, after the release of Twitter for BlackBerry app – and it’s finally there!

Just like my previous quick reviews and screenshots posts on Opera Mini 5, Fennec for Android and Skyfire 2.0 Android, I’m doing a similar one for the Twitter for Android app too!

Twitter for Android Official App Now Available in the Android Market

twitter-logoTwitter has just released and announced the official Twitter for Android app! This is just weeks later after Twitter released the official app for BlackBerry.

Twitter also purchased the popular Twitter client, Tweetie, and will soon be releasing that as a free official Twitter app for iPhone! But looks like, Android was first in their priority list!

Twitter clients on Android don’t have the shiny UI and eye-candy that the iPhone Twitter clients offer, but they sure do have all the features one need, infact a few more in some apps.

There are many Android Twitter apps. Seesmic for Android and Twidroid remains my favourite, but I still decided to try out other Twitter clients from the Android Market, wondering if there is any other app out there waiting to be my default client on the Nexus One!
