Unlock Nexus One Bootloader in Android 2.1

modaco-logoGoogle Nexus One was officially released yesterday at the Android Press Conference which was updated live online along with live video streaming. It is available for $530 (unlocked).

Nexus One was already rooted long before the official announcement was made by Google with the Superboot ROM (how to root Nexus One) that you can download for free.

Superboot (Root) Mod for Acer Liquid

acer_liquid_whiteSuperboot (root for Nexus One) was just released today and a developer at the Modaco forums has already managed to repack it with smaller font and bigger screen size to be used with the Acer Liquid.

Liquid is the Android-based phone by Acer which originally runs on Android 1.6 but can now be modded to run the Superboot ROM which was released today to root the Nexus One.

Superboot ROM to Root Nexus One

modaco-logoGoogle Nexus One is rumoured to be released on January 5, in a special Android press event which is going to be held at the Google Headquarters in Mountain View.

Just a week before its release, Paul over at Modaco Forums has already managed to root the Nexus One and release a custom boot image called as Superboot.

android-logoSurprised? We all are! Google Nexus One root is now available for download. The rooted ROM for Google Nexus One is already available for download a week before its official release.

Android 2.1 has already been out on the web, but Paul (MoDaCo) has managed to root Google Nexus One that he had and has released Superboot ROM for the phone.
