Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 India Launch on March 26

xperia-x10 The much awaited Sony Ericsson Android-based smartphone, XPERIA X10, will be released in India on 26 March. The new XPERIA X10 runs Android 1.6 operating system and features a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1 GB RAM, 8 megapixels camera with LED flash and a Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor.

Sony Ericsson also announced that at the moment, the phone will run Android 1.6 OS but they will launch an update, Android 2.1, for the phone in the near future. Rumors suggest that the price of the phone will be around 30,000 INR. Click here for XPERIA X10 official unboxing video.

SE-logoFew days back, we posted a video by SE officials unboxing the XPERIA X10. We had some idea that they will be introducing new interface for their new smartphones, XPERIA X10.

Sony Ericsson has designed a completely new interface called UXP or User Experience Platform. It is based on Sony Ericsson’s latest phones, XPERIA X10, X10 mini and X10 Pro, based on Android OS.

They show the boxes for both colors of XPERIA X10 and also show a bit of what to expect in the box i.e the XPERIA X10, USB cable, charger, earphones, battery and documentation.

robyn-thumbSony Ericsson has still not confirmed the availability of its XPERIA X10 except the official announcement and the leaked images of it’s next Android phone (codenamed Robyn) are already floating around on the web.

Sony Ericsson Robyn looks like a younger brother (smaller version) the XPERIA X10 and it runs on the same custom UI developed by SE which powers the XPERIA X10.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Coming on January 18th?

Sony Ericsson is yet to make an official announcement on when the XPERIA X10 will be out in the stores, but some unconfirmed sources suggest it will be out on January 18.
