Samsung announced the new Galaxy S II at the Samsung Unpacked event in Barcelona, Spain on the February 13th, just a day before the official kick-off of the Mobile World Congress 2011.

Galaxy S II is the successor to the Galaxy S, an Android phone based on the latest Gingerbread OS. It is expected to launch later this month.

Samsung is back with another teaser website, and we know that this time, “something big is coming”.

Yes, Samsung will be announcing the long rumoured Samsung Galaxy S2 in Barcelona next month at 13th February, 2011 at this year’s Mobile World Congress.

The teaser website only features the old Samsung Galaxy S along with a new hidden product image which says, “Evolution is Fate”.The first preview teaser featuring this new Samsung product will go online on Feb 1.

Samsung Galaxy S – the fastest and the most powerful Android handset available is now in our hands for a full review. Galaxy Spica was Samsung’s first Android phone which didn’t do too well in the market because of low specifications, and  it had Android 1.5 which was never updated to Eclair.

It’s been a week since I started using the Samsung Galaxy S as my primary phone – and to be honest, I’ve never been this happy with a phone than this one. You pretty much got the idea how the review will go now.

Samsung Galaxy Spica Getting Anroid 2.1 OS Upgrade

samsung Samsung has finally announced that they have upgraded Samsung Galaxy Spica to the latest Android 2.1 OS. The upgrade will be available in Europe by the end of this month and will be released in Asia afterwards. However, there is no news when the upgrade will reach other countries.

Users who already own Samsung Galaxy Spica can upgrade their phone’s firmware via PC Studio 7, a tool designed to upgrade Samung mobile software, as the update will be available for users to download and install. If you don’t have PC Studio 7, you can download it from Samsung’s official site.
