Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1: Hands-On Photos and Videos

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 – It’s faster, bigger, thinner and lighter than the iPad 2. These were my impressions when I first got to play with the Samsung’s most-anticipated tablet this year.
At the Google I/O 2011, all the attendees were given a free Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Limited Edition. we never got to to try that one out, we did play with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (3G +WiFi) that will be soon available in stores.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 8.9 Price, Release Dates

Samsung announced the all new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablets at CTIA. They are more powerful, thinner and lighter than the iPad 2.
A full pricing list is also available now for both the tablets (WiFi only).
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 Announced
Samsung announced their new Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 tablets at CTIA in Orlando. Both of these new tablets are incredibly thin and Samsung has built a tablet experience on top of Honeycomb, making sure that Android 3.0 remains untouched.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the new Samsung TouchWiz UX which is called as TouchWiz 4.0.

Samsung will be unveiling their 8.9″ Galaxy Tab and their new Samsung Unpacked website for the tablet now shows a teaser video of what we should expect on the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 is expected to be a tad bit smaller version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1, which was announced along with the Galaxy S II at MWC’11.
Google Maps 5.0 on Samsung Galaxy Tab

Google Maps 5.0 was released last month for all the Android devices and one the major new feature added was the 3D vector graphics.
This new Google Maps 5.0 was demonstrated on a tablet for the first time by Andy Rubin on the Motorola prototype running Honeycomb at D: Dive Into Mobile – but no other tablets enjoyed Google Maps 5.0 on a big screen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Review

Yes, we finally got our hands on the best Android tablet (cum phone) available in the market right now – the Samsung Galaxy Tab. So far, I have spent almost a week playing with it: watched videos and listened to music, made voice and video calls, social networks, emails etc.
