Since Windows 7 Beta 1 Build 7000 screenshots started surfacing various blogs and websites, it was pretty obvious that we’ll soon see a Windows 7 beta leak on torrents. Earlier yesterday, the DVD ISO image of the 32-bit (x86) Windows 7 6.1.7000.0 was found on BitTorrent sites, shared by a Microsoft beta tester.
Many fake torrents also popped up claiming to be the latest beta leak, but the correct torrent should contain the ISO file 7000.0.081212-1400_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULFRE_EN_DVD.iso and that’s the one you should download.

Okay folks! Looks like Windows 7 Beta 1 download is going to hit the Internet a lot earlier than we thought. It was already claimed by a German website, Winfuture, yesterday that Windows 7 Beta 1 might be released today, and looks like they were telling right.
An hour ago, Neowin, spotted a Windows 7 Beta download link on the official Windows 7 page on Microsoft’s site. They updated this page today sometime ago.

It seems like Microsoft is buffing up its latest and shiniest software piece, Windows 7, for a release earlier than people expected. Originally in 2007, after Windows Vista released, Microsoft said that another version of Windows should be expected after 3 years somewhere in 2010.
But a recent news was brought into the spotlight by CNET, in a Windows Vista Velocity program presentation, that it was confirmed by Doug Howe, Microsoft’s Director, that Microsoft is pressing for Windows 7 release in holiday season of 2009.

Here’s something all Vista fans are going to like. The next security update, Service Pack 2, that is still in pre-beta can now be downloaded from Windows Update with just a small registry hack.
A couple of weeks ago, few Microsoft beta testers were given Windows VIsta SP2 to download and try. You can now also download Vista SP2 directly from Windows update using the trick given below. This registry trick makes a small change in your registry so that Windows Update thinks you are one of the beta testers.
Free Windows Vista With SP1 Product Key & DVD Disc

Microsoft is giving away free full version Windows Vista with SP1 DVDs and product key, together with its DVD media. It will be shipped to your home free of cost! As far as the product key is concerned, we are not sure if its a full lifetime key or just a trial one (for a limited time).
How To Create A Live USB Stick Of Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy
There are several ways to install Ubuntu on your system, and those methods have proved quite handy. For instance, if you don’t have a CD/DVD-ROM, you can use your USB stick to install or run Ubuntu. Methods for installing Ubuntu through hard disk or a computer on another network are also available. But the best method I like is to use a bootable live Ubuntu USB stick.

This is a new method and is being adopted and used by many, since it’s more easier, faster and portable way of installing Ubuntu on a computer. You only need a 1GB USB stick and Ubuntu already installed on a computer.
