Adobe yesterday released the final version of Flash Player 10.1 for Android. Flash Player 10.1 has been in beta since its announcement at the Google I/O in May, but they finally released Flash Player 10.1 yesterday.
Flash Player 10.1 doesn’t show any major improvement in performance since the its beta 3 release, but it sure is a lot more slicker than before.

Frustrated with the poor battery life of your HTC Desire? Well, we all are. Even the Nexus One users are going through the same.

HTC Desire posted a rather ridiculous (but working) trick long back on how you can boost your HTC Desire’s battery life. The same goes for the HTC Evo too. It’s ridiculous, because it involves charging your phone, then turning it off, then again charging and then turning it on and then again charging – Weird, eh?
Android 3.0 on Nexus One, Out In The Wild
We know Google is internally testing Android 3.0 (Gingerbread)’s early builds and somehow it seems a leaked photo of Android 3.0 running on Nexus One is also out in the wild.
Android 3.0 is expected to release by the end of this year, but Google is completely lip-tight about any sort of info on when Gingerbread (Android 3.0) is going to be released or announced.
Super LCD for HTC Desire and Nexus One Coming Soon
HTC confirmed the rumours today of their own display technology which is called Super LCD. SLCD screens will go head to head with the AMOLED display screens.
HTC said they will be replacing the AMOLED screens of HTC Desire and Nexus One with the new SLCDs. HTC has not shown any demo units with the new screens, so we’re not yet sure how better/worse they will be.

A couple of months back, a hack was discovered which allowed you to record 720p HD videos on the Nexus One.
The same hack was discovered in HTC Desire as well. But wouldn’t it be better if the same videos can be watched in 3D as well? How cool will that be!

Not much is known about what new changes and features have been added in this FRF72 software update for Nexus One, but it looks nothing more than bug fix and improvement release.

Android 2.2 Hidden Feature: Trackball Colours
Android 2.2 (Froyo) is now available to most of the Nexus One users, ofcourse, except the users have rooted their N1 will have to wait for an officialFroyo dump for their devices to update.
This update comes with an interesting feature which was never highlighted at the Google I/O 2010, trackball colours! This feature was rumoured months ago to be included in the next Android update, and it really is, but was never mentioned anywhere by Google. Or may be, it’s only for the N1 trackball?
