How to Install Android 2.3.3 on Nexus One

And the manual update is finally here! Google released Android 2.3.3 software update for the Nexus One and the Nexus S yesterday, but that will be rolled out to everyone in the coming few weeks.
Like always, the manual download links are out and available for the impatient. If you can’t wait for the official download notification to show up, follow the instructions below.
Nexus S / Nexus One Android 2.3.3 Now Available
Google just announced that they are rolling out the Nexus One / Nexus S Android 2.3.3 software update OTA and it will take a few weeks before it is fully completed.
The update will be rolled out over-the-air and will take some time to for all users to receive it. People with both devices will not receive it in one day.
Nexus S Hands-On Photos

Google launched the Nexus S last month which is the first phone to have Gingerbread (Android 2.3) on it.
I managed to get my hands on the device a few days back and took a few photos of it. See them after the jump!
Google Nexus S vs Google Nexus One

Google Nexus S was announced today by Google, along with the Android 2.3 software update launch.
Nexus One was the first phone by Google which has the latest Android 2.1 on it and this year, Google has launched the Nexus S with some minor improvements in features.
Nexus One Android 2.3 Software Update Released
Just with the huge announcement of the Android 2.3 and the Google Nexus S, Google has already started rolling out the Android 2.3 software update from Nexus One.

I’m still waiting for the Nexus One Android 2.3 software update on my phone, but I’m sure it is somewhere around and will show up soon.

Jailbreaking PS3 is now possible with Android phones, like I posted yesterday and also gave the full instructions on how to hack PS3 it with the Nexus One.

On the same side, there is a long list of devices these folks are targetting from which you will be able to hack your PlayStation 3 without having to buy a $150 USB. iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch is in the list too!

I just wrote about the newly discovered PS3 jailbreak which can now be done using your Nexus One, HTC Desire or other Android handsets.

PS3 jailbreak from Android phones is completely free to use, unlike the USB mod to jailbreak PS3 which required you to purchase the USB for $150.
Jailbreak PS3 for Free with Android Phones
You can now jailbreak PlayStation 3 using an Android phone! Previously, we reported about a USB mod that was discovered to jailbreak PS3, but was being sold for $150. But now you can still jailbreak PS3 for free, that is, if you have an Android phone!

Not all Android-handsets support this, but PS3 jailbreak has been proved with a Nexus One on a demo video attached after the jump. More devices will be added over time.
Nexus One Froyo FRG33 Build ROM Leaked
Now this is interesting. Nexus One just got a ROM leaked out which is said to be a new update after the FRF91 Froyo update from Google – Nexus One FRG33.
This is now available for download, thanks to the folks at XDA forums.
