Firefox has always been my favourite browser, and I hope it always stays to be like this. Reason? Because of all the functionality it has, and the fact that it allows expansion of its features thanks to plugins and extensions.
Here’s a simple trick by which you can duplicate an already opened tab in Firefox. I still don’t get its use, but Firefox has this ‘feature’ in it.
Firefox Mobile for Symbian S60 Devices
A couple of months back, Mozilla introduced Fennec, which is Firefox for mobile devices. I’m sure Firefox needs no introduction as it’s one of the most popular web browser available for desktop.
Fennec was initially released as an alpha version for Nokia N810 internet tablet and had plans to release for Windows Mobile as well. Being a Symbian user myself, I wasn’t glad to see that I won’t be able to run my favourite browser on my Nokia N96.

Firefox 3 is very fast itself, but there’s always room for improvement and you can tweak and optimize it for best performance and speed.
Firefox settings are usually tweaked by manually changing the values in about:config (type this in the address bar). But since it’s not that easy for everyone, I have found a nice freeware which lets you optimize Firefox according to your computer speed and internet connection speed.
Download Fennec, Firefox for Mobile
You must have already heard about the latest buzz by Mozilla – Fennec, the Firefox browser for mobile. They have released the first public alpha version for users to give it a try.
Currently, this mobile web browser only supports the Nokia N800 and N810 internet tablet. Fennec is not the final name, but just a development codename.
Firefox 3.1 Beta Now Available
Mozilla has finally released the long-awaited, first development release of Firefox 3.1 Beta 1. Firefox 3 was released 4 months ago, back in June and now eher we have the first beta of Firefox 3.1.
They haven’t added many new feaures in this release, but we sure hope they will add them by the final version comes out. Some noticiable feaures are the Ctrl + Tab (tab swicthing) feaure and TraceMonkey.
Firefox 3.1 Getting Private Browsing
The recent trend of incorporating porn aka privacy mode in browsers is getting more and more popular with every browser trying to add this feature in it.
As far as I remember, Apple was the first one to add this feature as Stealth mode in Safari. Then came Internet Explorer 8 with the same feature as InPrivate and now the most recently released browser Google Chrome also has this as Incognito.
