The third alpha version Ubuntu 8.10 (codename Intrepid Ibex) has released yesterday, and is now available for download. The final version is scheduled to release this October.

Even the Alpha 3 doesn’t bring any major updates or modifications in Ubuntu 8.10. Alpha 2 came up with many software updates, but this one doesn’t. I just want to keep my readers up to date with the latest Ubuntu 8.10 development. Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 3 comes with a brand new development version of the Nautilus file manager (with tabs) and a new Linux kernel.

The second alpha version Ubuntu 8.10 (codename Intrepid Ibex) has released yesterday, and is now available for download. The final version is scheduled to release this October.

Alpha 2 does not bring any major changes as compared to Alpha 1, but comes with the brand new Xorg 7.4, a new Linux kernel, GNOME 2.23.4 and some other software updates. A brand new completely redesigned theme was also introduced in the previous alpha.
