How To Disable Apple’s Kill-Switch in iPhone

Last week it was discovered that through the kill-switch mechanism in iPhones, Apple can remotely blacklist and disable third-party locations stored on users’ private devices.

Later on, this was readily confirmed by the Apple CEO Steve Jobs that there exists this kill-switch which allows Apple to remotely block bad and malicious apps that are bought from the App Store.

There were rumours that the new Apple iPhone firmware 2.0.1 update will be out today, and guess what. It really did! Apple has released the first update for its iPhone firmware 2.0 and it is now available for public download though iTunes.

It is expected that this new firmware will fix the bugs that were found in iPhone 2.0 i.e crashing apps, interminable keyboard delays, choppy scrolling etc. This firmware update will also be available for iPod Touch users.
