iPhone OS 3.0 was first shown in a Preview event for developers in March, and since then it has been in news with 100 new features that are going to be released with it for both, iPhone and iPod Touch. iPhone OS 3.0 beta was also leaked several times.

iPhone 3GS Announced By Apple

In this two-hour long event, Apple unveiled the new 13 and 15 inch MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard, Safari 4, iPhone OS 3.0 and the all new iPhone 3G[S].

Yellowsn0w 0.9.8 to Unlock iPhone 2.2.1

After the release of iPhone firmware 2.2.1, there was no tool to unlock it, but the iPhone Dev Team tweeted a couple of hours back about the release of Yellowsn0w 0.9.8.

Yellowsn0w 0.9.8 can unlock iPhone 2.2.1. This news have still not made to the iPhone Dev Team’s blog, but the tweet showed that soon the official tool update will be out and available for download.
