Looks like the next week will be an interesting one for all the Android fans as two much awaited Android-based smartphones, Motorola Milestone (Droid) and Sony Ericsson XPERIA x10, will be launched in India. Motorola announced that they will be launching Motorola Milestone in India on March 22.
Milestone will be the first Motorola smartphone running Android 2.1 OS. And people expect that the price of the smartphone will be around 30,000 INR, similar to that of XPERIA X10. Motorola Milestone features a 3.7 inch capacitive touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, 256MB RAM, 5 megapixels camera with dual-LED flash and much more.
The much awaited Sony Ericsson Android-based smartphone, XPERIA X10, will be released in India on 26 March. The new XPERIA X10 runs Android 1.6 operating system and features a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 1 GB RAM, 8 megapixels camera with LED flash and a Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor.
Sony Ericsson also announced that at the moment, the phone will run Android 1.6 OS but they will launch an update, Android 2.1, for the phone in the near future. Rumors suggest that the price of the phone will be around 30,000 INR. Click here for XPERIA X10 official unboxing video.
