HTC Evo 4G, First Android 4G Smartphone by Sprint

sprint-evo-4g-1 The phone everyone was waiting for has arrived. Sprint in collaboration with HTC announced the first ever 4G phone, HTC Evo 4G, which will be available this summer. The phone features a 4.3-inch display and runs on Android 2.1 OS.

HTC Evo 4G comes with a QSD8650 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB built-in memory and 512MB RAM, 8 megapixels camera with the capability of 720p video, HDMI port. Other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 1GB of internal memory, Assisted-GPS with Sprint Navigation, seven home screens, a personal organizer, a microSD card slot that accommodates cards up to 32GB, Google apps, Sprint TV, messaging, Flash 10.1 enabled browser and Outlook Exchange support for contacts and e-mail.

Two months ago, HTC HD3 specifications were leaked which unveiled that it will be powered by the Qualcomm’s 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor.

htc-touch-pro3Nowadays, so many rumors are going on all over the internet. First it was about iPhone 4.0 to support multi-tasking, Nokia to announce C6 and the latest rumor suggests that HTC is planning to launch HTC Touch Pro 3 running Windows Mobile 6.5.

Ofcourse, it won’t support Windows Mobile 7 because of its different requirements (but who knows?), but Windows Mobile 6.5 would be cool for the HTC Touch Pro 3.

HTC Incredible Leaked Pictures and Specs

htc-incredibleFew pictures and specs of Verizon’s upcoming Android based phone, HTC Incredible, have been leaked today. The pictures look somewhat real compared to all the prototypes that were leaked before. Rumors have it that it’s another Sense UI Android with an 8MP camera with LED flash.

Rumors also suggest that the Snapdragon processor has been underclocked to 768MHz to save battery life while the RAM has been doubled to 512MB.
