Nexus One Unboxing Photos
Today I finally received my Google Nexus One! Yes, now you can expect some nice experiments and more Android app reviews.
In my last 12 hours with the phone, I’ve been able to transfer and set up the entire phone as I used to have it on the HTC Hero. Check here for the Nexus One and HTC Hero side-by-side photos.

Before getting my own Google Nexus One, I got another Nexus One from another place which I was able to unbox and compare it with my HTC Hero.

The reports are out of the Nexus One sales during the first week and no, they don’t look as good as they should have been – or atleast with the hype it created, we expected better.

Just now I shared how you can enable (wired) tethering on Nexus One, and here’s another similar tutorial to enable wireless tethering on Nexus One.

Since Nexus One is still new, there is no “one click root” available for it yet, but I’m sure the team behind Flash Rec will release it soon. Their app for Hero really saves a lot of trouble when rooting it.
In this tutorial on how to install and root your Nexus One using RA Nexus Recovery Image, I’ll use the fastboot method as given by Amon himself.
RA Nexus One Recovery Image
When it comes to recovery image for Android phones, I should really appreciate Amon RA for his work and the recovery images he releases.
In my tutorial on how to root HTC Hero, I used his recovery image as that was the best option option available. And now he has released the same image for Nexus One too.
