Gmail Getting a New Look – Preview from Gmail Team

In the last two days, there has been a lot of new design changes, product launches and other stuff happening at Google. After Google+, Google Bar, Google Profile – then ext Google product to get a facelift is Gmail.

The official Gmail blog has posted a preview of what we will be seeing on Gmail in the coming few months. A brand new, cleaner interface that is as beautiful as powerful Gmail is.

Gmail Introduces New “Suspicious Account Activity” Feature

Desktop Gmail Notifier, Spiffy

spiffy-logoMany people prefer Gmail notifications on their desktop and don’t like keeping a Gmail tab opened in their browser just to check emails. I agree.

Desktop notifications are much cleaner and you only open Gmail if you want to reply to an email. Google Talk also has Gmail notifications, but gain, that’s for people who also want to IM with their friends.
