How To Check for Google Chrome Updates

According to Google Chrome Help Center, Chrome automatically updates to a newer version when one is released which happens silently whether or not you’re using the browser at the time.
But for some reason, this isn’t working for me and I had to manually check Google Chrome for the latest version. If you are also having this issue and want to see if a manual update is available, follow these steps:

Google Chrome, the open source browser project by Google was released yesterday for public download in about 100 languages.
Chrome brought many new interesting features like Incognito being one of them. It is a similar feature to InPrivate in IE8 and more commonly known as porn made that allows you to browse the web privately, and no information related to yuor browsing will be saved in your computer.

You must have already guessed by my last 2 posts how excited I am about Google Chrome. I downloaded Chrome as soon as it was made live for public and closed Firefox for sometime while I try this new browser by Google.
If you are still wondering what in the world is Chrome, then it goes like this: Google Chrome is an open-source web browser by Google based on the WebKit engine. It combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier, and aims to improve stability, speed and security.
Download Google Chrome – Available Now!
Google Chrome has been able to make the same hype and excitement that was created for Firefox 3. And that also in just 2-3 days!
A few minutes ago, Google announced that Chrome is now officially available for download from its site (link below). Currently, it is only available for Windows. But Mac and Linux versions will be available in the next releases.
Google Chrome Launching Tomorrow
Google recently gave a few hints about its long-rumoured Google Browser, Chrome. This will be an open-source project and has been brought into the spotlight with a 38 pages comic published by Google Blogoscoped.
Today, they have posted a response to this on their blog and have announced that Google Chrome is launching tomorrow. It will be a beta version releasing in more than 100 countries.
