IE9 Release Date Confirmed for March 14th
Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) release date is March 14th. Confirmed, this time! Last month, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer hinted that the next major release of their browser, Internet Explorer 9, will be releasing on March 14th and they have confirmed it now!

Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) is coming – next month or so. Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer, announced this at a recent developers day at Microsoft Switzerland.
He also talked about the Internet Explorer 9 for Windows Phone 7 that is supposed to release with a WP7 update codenamed “Mango’, and will be available later this year.
Firefox 4 Beta 4 Releasing on Monday
Mozilla will be releasing Firefox 4 beta 4 for download on Monday, just days after beta 3 was released, Neowin reports.
Firefox 4 beta 4 will be released with two new features: hardware-accelerated graphics for Windows users and tab sets.
Skyfire 2.2 for Android Released
No operating system, be it a desktop one or for a handheld device, can be complete without a good web browser. Recently, the Beta version of the browser SkyFire 2.2 was released Google’s Android operating system. The version number to be exact is 2.2.0.18794; the new version brings several improvements to its predecessor SkyFire 2.1.

Skyfire 2.0 for Android was launched yesterday. It is the first public beta after the limited private beta version for early testers.
The browser is very stable, faster than Fennec for Android and yes, it could play Flash videos (YouTube only so far) too that we all have been waiting for! Other Flash elements don’t work though, but let’s say, it’s just the beginning!

Skyfire 2.0 for Android phones is now available in the Android Market for public download! Skyfire 1.0 for Android remained in beta for testing purposes and is now finally available as Skyfire 2.0.
Mozilla just came out with the first pre-alpha release of Fennec for Android yesterday, and as Skyfire didn’t wanted to stay behind, they are in with the launch of their browser for Android – that also supports FLASH videos!

Fennec for Android pre-alpha has just been released today for public to try out and give feedback. Developers want the browser to be developed according to the end user’s needs and requirements.
Since it’s a 10.2MB installation and requires atleast an Android 2.0 device with OpenGL support, I tried it on my Nexus One. The browser is pretty slow at the moment, but like the developer said, “it’s even more of a pre-nightly build (even earlier than pre-alpha)”. It’s usable though.

Fennec for Android, Firefox Mobile, ‘super’ pre-alpha version is now available for download! Yes, it is still in its very early stages, but atleast it could open websites ;)
It has been a long time since Firefox has been talking about Fennec for Android and promised with an alpha release soon. They kept their promise, and the first alpha release is out for public download.
Internet Explorer 9 UI Screenshots Leaked
Finally, few screenshots of Microsoft’s upcoming browser interface, Internet Explorer 9, has been leaked. Till now, we had only seen the Internet Explorer 9 Preview build, but now treat your eyes with some cool screenshots of IE9.
A Chinese website has posted IE 9 preview screenshots and said it will use the Metro UI, the same which is used in Zune HD and Windows Phone 7 series interface.
