Samsung Galaxy Spica Getting Anroid 2.1 OS Upgrade
Samsung has finally announced that they have upgraded Samsung Galaxy Spica to the latest Android 2.1 OS. The upgrade will be available in Europe by the end of this month and will be released in Asia afterwards. However, there is no news when the upgrade will reach other countries.
Users who already own Samsung Galaxy Spica can upgrade their phone’s firmware via PC Studio 7, a tool designed to upgrade Samung mobile software, as the update will be available for users to download and install. If you don’t have PC Studio 7, you can download it from Samsung’s official site.
Orkut for Android App Released
Orkut for Android app is now available for Android 1.6 (and higher) users and is now available for download from the Android Market.
Google announced the Orkut app after the announcement of their updated version of Google Maps for Android devices.

HTC Incredible Leaked Pictures and Specs
Few pictures and specs of Verizon’s upcoming Android based phone, HTC Incredible, have been leaked today. The pictures look somewhat real compared to all the prototypes that were leaked before. Rumors have it that it’s another Sense UI Android with an 8MP camera with LED flash.
Rumors also suggest that the Snapdragon processor has been underclocked to 768MHz to save battery life while the RAM has been doubled to 512MB.
ODROID Developer Edition Gets Android 2.1
Remember ODROID? Yes, the handheld gaming device powered by Android. ODROID Developer Edition recently got an Android 2.1 update which makes it running on the latest Android version up to date.
It is based on a Samsung-manufactured application processor called S5PC100 833MHz. The system-on-chip(SoC) uses the latest ARM’s Cortex-A8 with NEON multimedia accelerator.
