How to Backup Call Logs on Android Phone

Google allow Android users to backup their apps, settings, passwords om their Google account and it restores everything back to how it was when you do a full reset of your phone. However, it never backups up your call logs. To most of you, this may not seems of any importance, but for some, it does.

Android keeps a record of your last 500 calls. There is an app available on the Android Market to help backup and restore your call logs on another phone or after a full reset.

One way to install apps on an Android phone is through the Android Market, but what if you have an APK file and want to install that manually? Android allows you to install third-party apps on your phone, but with a little option that you have to check in Settings.

This is a very basic Android tip, but after going through various Android forums and discussions boards, I found out that many new Android users have no idea of these small tips and trick which, according to us, are a must-do steps after a new or a full reset of an Android phone. How to Remove Google Account from Android Phone

android-logoOne issue that all Android users are facing is that once you set up your Google account on an Android phone, there is no option to clear/remove the account.

You can’t change or remove the Google Account in case you want to use another account on your phone. Yes, it’s kinda annoying and surprisingly, no one has added that option till now.
