LePhone – Lenovo Android Phone
Yesterday, over at the CES 2010, Lenovo announced their very own Android phone in their presentation – LePhone. Yup, the name does sound odd!
LePhone is powered with the Android 1.6 and features their own custom user interface on the LePhone (or should we say Le Phone).
Sony Ericsson Robyn Leaked Photos
Sony Ericsson has still not confirmed the availability of its XPERIA X10 except the official announcement and the leaked images of it’s next Android phone (codenamed Robyn) are already floating around on the web.
Sony Ericsson Robyn looks like a younger brother (smaller version) the XPERIA X10 and it runs on the same custom UI developed by SE which powers the XPERIA X10.
Unnamed Android Phone from Foxconn
There has been a sudden increase in the number of Android devices that we’ll see in the Q4 2010 and the Android devices releasing in November.
Motorola Droid, along with a few other Android phones and firmware updates to previous ones are expected in November which makes it an important month for Android users.
XPERIA X3 Android Phone Leaked Images
Looks like Sony Ericsson is now finally getting rid of Windows Mobile and now looking forward to introduce other platforms in their cellphones – atleast, the leaked XPERIA X3 Android-powered phone images show that.
Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X2 is yet to release and we’re already getting leaked photos of XPERIA X3, which will be an Android-powered device.
HTC Tattoo, Another Android Phone
Yesterday, we have been busy with the Rock and Roll event by Apple where new iPods were announced along with iPhone OS 3.1 and iTunes 9 . No, that didn’t mean we haven’t forgotten other brands.
Just today, HTC announced its another Android phone after HTC Hero. This time they have another smart name for their latest Android device called as HTC Tattoo .
Motorola Sholes, Verizon’s First Android Phone
Even if it’s slow, but atleast we are getting to see new Android phones coming up by other manufacturers. As announced earlier this year, Motorola is all set to come out with their Android phone in Ocrober.
It is rumoured that this phone will be released for Verizon, and if it really does, then this Android phone will be the first one to work on the EVDO Rev. A 3G network.
HTC Magic: The Next G2 Announced
Remember the leaked photos I shared of another Android-powered T-mobile phone, which was termed as ‘G2′? Well, the curtains finally went up when, a couple of days ago at the Mobile World Congress ’09, HTC Magic was announced.
HTC Magic will be the first touch-only phone, featuring the upcoming Android Cupcake update, which also includes an on-screen keyboard.
Samsung, Android Phone in First Half of 2009
It’s about time we get more Android-powered phones in the market. The only one I know of is G1. Other manufacturers have promised to release soon, but no signs of them yet.
After getting a chance to use Android on G1, I’m eagerly waiting for Android to hit other handsets i.e Samsung, Motorola etc. Samsung recently hinted of coming out with an Android phone in the first half of 2009.
