Recently, another feature of Windows 8 was discovered called as “Hybrid Boot”. It allows you to reduce startup times after shutting down your computer.
The shutdown and startup times have significantly improved even in Windows 8 Milestone 1 (build 7850). If Hybrid Boot is enabled, restart behaviour of your computer remains un-affected.

Windows 8 (build 7850) Milestone 1 is basically Windows 7 with some new additions and features that Microsoft has been working under the hood. But they are kinda locked up, and not visible in any menu. They can be only dug up deep in Windows 8 files and registry.

Windows 8 Tweaker is a free utility that allows users to unlock hidden features/programs in Windows 8 (build 7850). Hidden Windows 8 features like enabling modern task manager, enable webcam app, Windows 8 PDF reader, Windows 8 Ribbon UI etc.

Adobe Photoshop has an in-built feature for resizing photos in batch. Even though when people have Photoshop installed on their computer, they still look for other software to resize photos.
This tip works with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Photoshop CS4. I’m not sure if this still works with Photoshop CS5 or any other Adobe product. If you have a folder of large photos, you can use Photoshop to resize them.

How To Edit Comments in Facebook

Facebook introduced a new feature a while ago making it easier to post comments on wallpost, photo, status or any other activity. This even allows you to edit your comment on Facebook without having to delete the entire comment.
Usually when you had to edit comments, what did you do? Copied the text, delete the comment and again type it down with the correction you wanted to make. Oh well, this is not needed anymore.
