Google allow Android users to backup their apps, settings, passwords om their Google account and it restores everything back to how it was when you do a full reset of your phone. However, it never backups up your call logs. To most of you, this may not seems of any importance, but for some, it does.
Android keeps a record of your last 500 calls. There is an app available on the Android Market to help backup and restore your call logs on another phone or after a full reset.

One way to install apps on an Android phone is through the Android Market, but what if you have an APK file and want to install that manually? Android allows you to install third-party apps on your phone, but with a little option that you have to check in Settings.
This is a very basic Android tip, but after going through various Android forums and discussions boards, I found out that many new Android users have no idea of these small tips and trick which, according to us, are a must-do steps after a new or a full reset of an Android phone. Those of you trying to use Firefox 7.0a1 will be facing an issue that none of your Firefox addons would be working in this browser due to compatibility issues and you will have to hack your way through so that Firefox 7.0 doesn’t check for extension updates and disables them.
