Facebook 1.1 for Android

Facebook for Android is one of the worst app Facebook has ever released for any of their devices. The Android version can barely do anything – But now, welcome the Facebook 1.1 for Android.
In my experience with Facebook 1.0 app on HTC Hero, all it could do is check your news feed and comment or like feed items there. Or most you can do is open anyone’s profile information.

Orkut has revamped their site and have now rebuilt it from ground using Google Web Toolkit (GWT) which has turned Orkut a lot faster, richer and more intuitive experience for everyone.
I have been offering invitations to everyone in my other post. If you have got the new design and are not satisfied with it, you can always go back to the old design.

Orkut introduced a new design two days ago in which they have rebuilt the entire site using Google Web Toolkit (GWT) which has turned Orkut a lot faster, richer and more intuitive experience for us all.
Now this design isn’t opened for everyone to try and you need an invitation first if you would like to try out the new Orkut.

You all have seen the new Facebook homepage by now and have heard mixed reactions from everyone. It’s kind of weird that every time we get used to one Facebook design, they change it again then.
Many of you really hate the new Facebook design and find it very annoying as you don’t get to keep up with the happenings in your friends profiles. If that’s the case, I’d suggest you go for Facebook Lite as default.

I just wrote about the new Orkut design that has been released today. Unlike Facebook and other social networks, Orkut has decided to give this new design on invitation-basis,a tleast for now.
The new design looks tempting and being a geek, I’d love to try it even if I hate Orkut a lot and stopped using it two years ago. May be, I would start using it again if I find improvements.

No matter how much spam-filled Orkut is right now, but it’s still the most used social network in India, Brazil and several other countries.
Some people use multiple accounts for their online presence. Like, not everyone likes to have their family and friends in the same account (Orkut doesn’t have a list feature like Facebook).
