Minecraft for iPhone, Android Coming Soon

Minecraft for (iPhone, iPod, iPad) iOS and Android devices will be coming later this year. A number of clones are already available, but this time the official game is in works and will be released this year.

Mojang founder Markus ‘Notch’ Persson explained that the iOS version won’t get all the updates as the original version, but will only get the features which “make sense” for the touch-screen devices.

Sn0wbreeze 2.2 RC3 Download: iBooks Fix for Jailbreak Detection

Sn0wbreeze 2.2 RC3 is now available for download which brings the iBooks fix which allowed Apple to detect devices which have been jailbroken.

Apple denied access to books (in the iBooks app) on iOS devices that had been jailbroken, but thanks to Sn0wbreeze 2.2 RC3 this has been fixed and can be quickly patched.

Google Books for Android, Google eBookstore Launched

Google launched its own ebooks service called the Google eBooks Store which brings you a huge library (3 million) of digital books to read online or read on your mobile device.

Alone with the online service, Gogole also launched Google Books app for Android, iPhone, iPad, Nook and Sony.

iOS 4.3 Coming for Download In December

iOS 4.3 will be available for download in mid-december. It’s not confirmed, but taking a look at the rumours recap posted by MacStories, it is pretty obvious Apple will be holding a media event soon to address the issues found in iOS 4.2.

The new iOS 4.3 is rumoured to have in-app subscriptions, iPad-only newspapers and also aims to fix all the issues people are having with the last firmware update.
