Gmail Mobile 2.0 Released
Google has just released the latest version of their mobile GMail client, Gmail Mobile 2.0. This time they focused to make the experience much more faster, easier to use and more reliable for users.
It has been released for J2ME-supported devices like the Nokia N96, as well as BlackBerry phones. Gmail Mobile 2.0 is designed to be more reliable in low signal areas and provides basic offline support for phones like the Nokia N95, Sony Ericsson W910i, and BlackBerry Curve.
New Goodies from Google GMail for Lab Rats
Canned Responses is the latest mod from the GMail Labs. If you find yourself writing the same email messages over and over again, this mod will make your life a whole lot easier.
Instead of copy/pasting from text files, canned Responses lets you quickly insert template text messages from a list of messages that you can pre-define. You can use it for frequently repeated queries, acceptance/rejection emails, campaigns or anything else that suits your needs.
Twitroid: Twitter Client for Android
Since Android has released, I haven’t got time to share any interesting applications. Here’s the first app that I’m be sharing for Android-based phones on Sizzled Core. From now on, I’ll be covering more interesting apps as they release.
Twitroid will be the first application on Android platform which will let you do all the that you expect from a Twitter client and will also let you upload photos on their own image hosting called Photroid.
G1 Android Online Emulator
G1 is the first handset powered by Google’s very own open-source mobile operating system, Android. It was announced three weeks ago and is expected to release on October 22nd.
Not everyone will be able to taste it as it gets unveiled next month because you will have to sign a 2-year contract in order to get it unlocked.
Google Search in January 2001
Google recently celebrated its 10th birthday of their on-going Internet domination, and brought back the search engine which was live on web as of January 2001.
Now users can search pages from the past from an old index of 1,326,920,000 web pages and have a look at what the web looked in January 2001, all thanks to Google and their old archive.
