FeedBurner Is Getting New Home
FeedBurner announced back in April, that all FeedBurner users will be migrated to Google Accounts. But the interesting part is, that Google will no longer use feedburner.com as their home or in the feed URLs. Their new home will be feedburner.google.com, a site that announces you can use FeedBurner to “analyze, publicize, optimize, and monetize your feeds”. At the moment, you can’t login or create new accounts at the new home, but this will start working once the migration process gets started.
Embed RSS Headlines Using Google AJAX Feed API
Now with Google’s code generating tool, it’s very easy to embed RSS headlines into personal sites or at other places where JavaScript is allowed. All you have to do is choose a style, feed expression and generate the code! Can it get anymore easier? The code can be easily customized to suit your web-design, contains no ads and is a great tool for web beginners.
Choosing a style is very easy. You get to choose from three styles vertical, vertical stacked and horizontal. You can see an example of the horizontal style in the image above. In feed expression, you just add the name of the blog, and Google will find the feed for that blog itself and show you its direct feed URL. If you think that’s all what you need, press Preview button to see how it looks. Finally, when you are done with adding blogs, press the Generate Code button. You can copy/paste the code on any page where JavaScript is allowed.
Gmail Labs: Experimental Features Now Live
Gmail team is always on one thing or the other. Yesterday, they rolled out Gmail Labs, a portal for all the upcoming and experimental Gmail features. These experimental features are developed by the Google employees as their personal projects for Gmail. With Gmai Labs, you can browse and try all the upcoming Gmail features that are still in development. Google engineers created these features for Gmail in their 20% time. So some of the features are not completely stable and need some more work.
Android Demo Shows Cool Features
Android is a mobile operating system being developed by Google. A conference was hosted by Google last week for developers who want to see what Android will be like. And showed some cool features that Android will be capable of doing. I just saw the demonstration clip and I think that it needs a little polishing before Google finally plans to roll it out. The nice slick touches to the interface will make it a perfect iPhone competitor. Overall, I loved the functionality it will have.
Revert Back To Old Google Favicon
You all must have noticed the new Google favicon image, which is now a simple blue-coloured g, instead of the colourful-boxed G. Some people are liking it and have appreciated the new favicon, but on the other side there are people, like me, who think that the old favicon was better. I really don’t like this favicon, and have found a way by which you can revert back to the old one.

It’s a very simple Greasemonkey script (What is this?) which changes the new Google favicon with the old favicon image.
Google Sites: Now Open For Everyone
If you are one of those people who want to have a website of their own, but don’t have enough money to pay for the hosting, then this article is definitely going to help you. Google Sites, is one such project that was launched a few months ago, but at that time it was only for Google Apps users.

Recently, Google announced on its official blog that Google Sites, that was launched for Google Apps, is now made public and can be used by anyone. This means, now, you can have a website of your own to share whatever information you like and with whomever you want. You can build a complete site from scratch in just a few clicks for free and make it available online for everyone to see.

How To Type In Bold In Google Talk

Wondering how I wrote in bold letters in Google Talk? This is what I am writing this tip for. In this post, I’ll tell you how you can use bold letters between a sentence while chatting in Google Talk. Most instant-messengers, nowadays, have the text formatting feature to change your text font, colour and to make it bold, underline or italicized.
But for some reason, this is a missing feature in Google Talk, and I don’t think they have any coming plans to add it in Google Talk. Once day, while chatting with a friend, I accidentally found this trick to make letters bold. While chatting I wrote *punch your face* and when I press Enter, this message came up in bold letters.
