Nokia’s Symbian Professional Services to be Acquired by Accenture
Nokia and Accenture have entered into an agreement for Accenture to acquire Nokia’s Symbian Professional Services unit responsible for Symbian OS customer engineering and customer support.
The unit provides engineering consulting and product development services on
a global basis to mobile phone manufacturers, as well as chip manufacturers
and mobile operators.
Motorola Sholes, Verizon’s First Android Phone
Even if it’s slow, but atleast we are getting to see new Android phones coming up by other manufacturers. As announced earlier this year, Motorola is all set to come out with their Android phone in Ocrober.
It is rumoured that this phone will be released for Verizon, and if it really does, then this Android phone will be the first one to work on the EVDO Rev. A 3G network.

Flash Player 10 Beta for Symbian, Android, webOS
Adobe has announced that they will be releasing a new and updated version of Flash Player for most of the smartphone OS, which includes Symbian-based S60 devices, Android, Palm webOS and Windows Mobile platforms.
They are expecting to release the beta version of Flash Player 10 in October at Adobe MAX 2009. This announcement was made by the president of Adobe, Shantanu Narayen.

In the past, all Nokia cameraphones used to have an option to turn on or off the camera shutter sound. But recently, they seem to have removed that option because of misuse of cameraphones in some places and privacy issues.
One way of turning the camera shutter sound off is by hacking into the firmware files and modifying the code. But why get into all that hassle when it can be done from a simple freeware?
