sizzledcore-logoOver the last few days, Sizzled Core readers must have noticed some changes I have been doing with this blog.

Some changes stayed, others were taken off as they didn’t go well with the blog and I got negative feedback on them. First to mention is, Sizzled Core is now on Facebook, and thanks to you all it already has over 440 fans!

SocialSafe, Free License Key Giveaway

Yesterday, I reviewed  a great application to backup your Facebook profile, friends and photos etc. called SocialSafe (full review).  It’s not a freeware like the rest we share here, but a worth-review paid, inexpensive application.

SocialSafe costs only $2.99, but even then the SocialSafe team has been kind enough to offer few license keys for free for Sizzled Core readers.

YouTube Video Downloader Back on Sizzled Core

YouTube logoYou must have noticed new link at the top bar, YouTube Downloader. It’s a working YouTube video downloader that I recently started for my readers. I also had one before using the tutorial by DJ Flush, but that script stopped working and is completely dead now as YouTube made some changes in their code. Instructions on how you can download the video can be found on the YouTube page. I’ll soon do a tutorial on how to start a YouTube downloader of your own in WordPress, or on any other site.

A Facebook application for downloading YouTube videos directly from your profile is also in the pipeline. Subscribe to the RSS feed so that you won’t miss out the application release. :)

Sizzled Core Facebook Application

Facebook logoHey friends! I have made my first Facebook application. Now all the Facebook addicts can add this blog’s feed and read all the latest articles right from their profile using the Sizzled Core RSS Feed application.

I was really impressed by TechnologyBites for making a RSS feed application using the tutorial by HowToForge. So using that tutorial, I started working on my own and in 3 hours of playing with that ‘developer’ stuff, I finally completed my app.
