How to Install RA Recovery Image on Nexus One
Since Nexus One is still new, there is no “one click root” available for it yet, but I’m sure the team behind Flash Rec will release it soon. Their app for Hero really saves a lot of trouble when rooting it.
In this tutorial on how to install and root your Nexus One using RA Nexus Recovery Image, I’ll use the fastboot method as given by Amon himself.
RA Nexus One Recovery Image
When it comes to recovery image for Android phones, I should really appreciate Amon RA for his work and the recovery images he releases.
In my tutorial on how to root HTC Hero, I used his recovery image as that was the best option option available. And now he has released the same image for Nexus One too.

If you thought Modaco is done with the Hero ROM updates, then check again. He now has something new in the works called as MoDaCo Custom ROM 3.1 Kitchen for Hero.
Hero Kitchen will allow users to bake (create) their own ROM with the choice of applications they want in it. This would be easier for thsoe who want their ROM to be light and won’t have to use tools to free up space.
