TweetDeck for Android Public Beta, Coming This Week

TweetDeck for Android is getting the first public beta sometime in this week! A blog post on the TweetDeck blog revealed that the Android Twitter client, TweetDeck for Android is now almost ready and will be open up for public testing in this week.

TweetDeck first announced TweetDeck for Android back in April. For now, we don’t even have any screenshots of app running on any device, but soon enough everyone will get their hands on it with the public beta.

More than 200,000 Android Devices Activated Every Day: Google

Google today revealed statistics showing that the company is activating more than 200,000 Android devices every day. The fact was uttered by Google CEO Eric Schmidt, who also said that this was after a rise of 40,000 since the month of June in 2010.

HTC Evo 4G gets Android 2.2 OTA Update

Finally, the long wait for HTC Evo 4G users is over and Google’s flagship mobile operating system’s latest update, Android 2.2 (nicknamed “Froyo”) is rolling out to all users of Evo 4G.
