Google released the latest Android OS, Gingerbread – Android 2.3 – a couple of hours ago that brings many new features to your Android device and ofcourse, the Google Nexus S.

Major focus has been put into gaming, multimedia and near field communication (NFC) in this latest Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update, but there is another feature you would love to have, built-in Internet calling – VoIP.

Gingerbread allows Nexus S to place Internet calls with a SIP account. This allows for enhanced VoIP dialing to other SIP accounts and even phone numbers.
