At the Dell evening in Singapore, Dell laptops and Streak were not the only thing under the spotlight. There was something else also that caught every blogger’s attention on that evening – the Dell Venue Pro.

Dell Venue Pro is powered by the upcoming Windows Phone 7 which was announced a few days back.

Its is a solid phone with a QWERTY slider keyboard and it also features an on-screen keyboard for those who are against of physical keyboards. Dell Venue Pro was one of the ten announced phones at the launch of Windows Phone 7 operating system.

Dell designed the Venue Pro to be a multi-purpose always-connected device to help people be more efficient, always connected and entertained. You can be productive and keep in touch with colleagues, friends and family with its social features of the Windows Phone 7.

Some of the key features of Dell venue Pro are:

  • Stunning 4.1″ AMOLED capacitive, multi-touch display
  • A full portrait QWERTY keyboard to provide a  better viewing & messaging experience
  • Supported with T-Mobile service
  • Elliptical, slender form provides elegance in a pocket-friendly size
  • Gorilla Glass for unprecedented durability and scratch resistance

My early views about the phone is that it will be one of the fastest WP7 devices out there and during my playtime with the phone, there has been not a single blink of lag anywhere in the phone.

We are at a point where we compare phone hardware, instead of just going with the top brand out in the market – Dell Venue Pro is a winner for sure!
