Frustrated with the poor battery life of your HTC Desire? Well, we all are. Even the Nexus One users are going through the same.

HTC Desire posted a rather ridiculous (but working) trick long back on how you can boost your HTC Desire’s battery life. The same goes for the HTC Evo too. It’s ridiculous, because it involves charging your phone, then turning it off, then again charging and then turning it on and then again charging – Weird, eh?

Here’s the excerpt from an old XDA forums thread:

“To also help with Battery Life you can do these steps exactly: 1) Turn your device ON and Charge the device for 8 hours or more 2) Unplug the device and Turn the phone OFF and charge for 1 hour 3) Unplug the device Turn ON wait 2 minutes and Turn OFF and charge for another hour Your battery life should almost double, we have tested this on our devices and other agents have seen a major difference as well”

I know what you’re thinking, but this seems to actually work for HTC Desire and HTC Evo users!

I wonder if this trick will also work with Nexus One (HTC manufactured) and the HTC Hero too.
