TweetDeck for Android Review, Screenshot Tour
TweetDeck for Android is now finally available for download, the official beta release! All you have to do is sign-up for a TweetDeck account and download the free TweetDeck Android app.
I have been playing with the app for the last 15 minutes, and honestly speaking, I like it! Well, there are still many things the app lacks behind in, but I’m sure before the final release hits the Android Market, this app will be just as perfect.
The TweetDeck team has worked a lot in the last few months and looks like their hard work paid off! TweetDeck Android app is way easy on the RAM as compared to Seesmic for Android. UI is very easy to use. Font in the app looks too big, but the big buttons and tabs makes it very easy to use. It’s fast, simple and a full client for Twitetr, Facebook, Google Buzz and Foursquare!
TweetDeck for Android badly needs one most important thing which is, a Settings menu from where we could configure the app as we want it. Other features I feel TweetDeck Android app should have are:
- Video uploading
- TwitPic support! (I really need this!)
- URL shortening
- Better mapping features
- Homescreen widget
- Better multiple accounts handling
- More options to sort out timeline and columns
As I play more with the app, I’ll soon be adding TweetDeck for Android in my list of 25+ Android Twitter Clients.
