Google has continued to evolve its Gmail web mail service which now includes a fully featured instant messaging service from the userâ€™s inbox. CNET has reported that Google may be taking the next step in revolutionizing their Gmail, as â€œGoogle is testing a Web-based service within Gmail that will allow users to place phone calls from their in-boxes.â€ The new reported VoIP service will act more or less like the inbox version of Skype: letting users make VoIP calls to not only other Gmail or Google Talk contacts, but also to landlines and cellular phones around the globe.

MiTime was just released by PushFix folks to activate FaceTime on iPhone 4. This app does not come for free, and will allow iPhone 4 users on unofficial carriers to activate FaceTime on their phone.
