Android 2.2 Froyo Features

android-logoIn the last few days, we have seen a number of leaks for the Android 2.2 Froyo update that is rumoured to release today at the Google I/O event which is about to start in an hour.

Android 2.2 will be blazing fast along with full Flash 10.1 support. Nexus One users are most likely to get the update first, before any of the other HTC or Motorola devices get them.


Android 2.2 Froyo Features

The list of features that have been known so far are as follows, but remember, there could be a lot more in this Froyo update!

  • Blazing fast
  • Android Market apps auto-update all
  • Flash 10.1 added
  • May be, an updated homescreen (Launcher.apk)
  • WiFi-Tethering

These are the features known so far, but rest of them will be fully revealed today if Google announced the Android 2.2 update today at Google I/O.
