skyfire-logoSkyfire 2.0 for Android phones is now available in the Android Market for public download! Skyfire 1.0 for Android remained in beta for testing purposes and is now finally available as Skyfire 2.0.

Mozilla just came out with the first pre-alpha release of Fennec for Android yesterday, and as Skyfire didn’t wanted to stay behind, they are in with the launch of their browser for Android – that also supports FLASH videos!

Android  2.2 is confirmed to have full Flash 10.1 support, but no final dates have been given as so when it will be released to the public. I have been an early Skyfire BETA user and it has seriously improved a lot over the beta releases.

The speed and performance of Skyfire for Android 2.0 is really nice as compared to other browsers. Check out the screenshot below from an early beta release.
