YouTube Launching New Design Today

youtube-logoIf you are sick and tired of the old video interface of YouTube, than there is a good news for you all. YouTube will launch a new video page design today with many new exciting features.

They claim that it’s going to be the biggest redesign in the history of their company.

The new interface features a new playlist design, AutoPlay On/Off switch that controls whether you automatically go to the next video or not. Other than that, you can add videos to queue whenever you search for any video. The old comments section has been changed and now you can add video responses as well in the comments.


TechCrunch reports that YouTube will be implementing the new design today (31st March). They got an email from one of YouTube partners, who said,

Dear Partner,

We want to provide you with an update on YouTube’s new video page, which we’ve been hard at work on for the last several months.

On Wednesday, March 31st we’re happy to let you know that we’ll be transitioning all YouTube videos to this new video page.

This new video page makeover is one of the biggest redesigns in YouTube history — and we’re excited to make YouTube a better place for you and your content!

Some new features in the layout include:

  • Streamlined look and functionality
  • New next-up video list
  • Description and stats area united
  • Simplified Binary ratings
  • And much more.

If you want to see how the new YouTube design looks like, check out this beta video. By looking at the beta design, it looks like this is one of the redesign the company implemented in the history of YouTube.
