Nokia C5 Announced, First in C Series
Nokia unveiled a new device today, the Nokia C5, which is an affordable smartphone optimized for social networking and sharing.
Along with this, they also launched a new naming convention, Nokia Cseries. More details on that will follow later as more devices in the Cseries are announced.
The Nokia C5 is a smartphone packed into a feature phone body, powered by S60 3rd edition OS and a number of messaging and social networking features that comes built in with the C5.

This phone features a cool new feature where users could see your friends Facebook status updates right from your Phonebook and you can also update your status and location using Ovi Maps 3.0 (this comes with free navigation).

Nokia C5 Release Date & Price
The Nokia C5 will be available in the second quarter of 2010 globally in Europe, Eurasia, SEAP, China and MEA. The anticipated retail price, before applicable taxes and subsidies is €135.
