CorePlayer 2.0 for Android, In Development

in Android, Mobile Apps

corecodec-logoCorePlayer 2.0 for Android is currently in development. The popular media player will soon be brought to the Android platform.

I have my hopes high for CorePlayer as there is not even a single media app on Android that could play all the video formats i.e MKV etc.

CorePlayer has been my favourite mobile video player since I used to have Nokia phones. I still use it on my Nokia E71 to play music videos.

I have been following @CoreCodec on Twitter for the latest updates and there they posted a screenshot of CorePlayer 2.0 playing a H.264 video on the Nexus One (Android phone).

CorePlayer 2.0 supports Android 1.5, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.1 at the moment.
