google-earth-logoGoogle Earth for Android is now available for download in the Android Market. I just logged in the Android Market on my Nexus One to check out some new apps and saw the Google Earth app which just released a few minutes ago.

I’m downloading it right now on my phone. Will update more about the app and how it works later.

UPDATE: So after playing with the app for a few minutes, I must say it’s really cool and worth checking out by all Droid/N1 users!

Google Earth for Android was first introduced and unveiled at the Google Nexus One launch on January 5. Today it finally made its way to the Android Market for everyone to download. Just a few days ago, I was trying to get my hands on this app which was in testing among Googlers.

This app supports multitouch on the Nexus One, not sure if it does the same on the Droid. It is compatible with devices on Android 2.0 or later.
