How to Hard Reset Nexus One

To hard reset Nexus One has never been this easy. In the past Android phones, to do a clean wipe of our device, we always had to go to the recovery and wipe the data partition.
But in the latest Android 2.1 running on the Nexus One, Google has given an option to restore all settings and the entire phone to factory defaults which is kinda like wiping your data partition completely.

How to Hard Reset Nexus One
To hard reset your Nexus One, follow the steps below:
- From the menu, go to Settings.
- Then go to Privacy.
- Select Factory data reset and read the warning carefully.
- When you’re ready, press the Reset phone button.
You can see it in the screenshot below. No more fuss of going into the recovery.

Note: This erase will not delete anything from your SD card.
